8 days trek through one of the wildest
Thailand national park Tung Yai Naresuan, home of the ethnic Karen.
this unique trek following the Thai-Burmese border allows us to cross
the best preserved Thailand national park Tung Yai Naresuan on the Unesco
world heritage list. The trails passes gorgeous nature: deep jungle, waterfalls,
swaying bamboo bridges and fords. Very few wandering Buddhist monks use
it as it’s very peaceful and therefore ideal for meditation. Every
night we’ll sleep in a Karen village at the headman’s house.
The town of Sangklaburi in Kanchanaburi province, best known for the bridge
on the river Kwai, is our departure point from where we reach the entrance
